J&S Book: "Now is the time to marry the one you love."

Okay sorry in advance but I need to explain the following post and my Love. Okay so I LOVE to draw. And have been working on this little project for quite some time now. It's not that drawing actually takes me that long, but when you have two little children...you are limited on time to do your own things. And with being busy with the Busy Biddy Boutique that has kept me pretty busy as well. So you know the gift tags I make? Well, I have wanted to illustrate people's life stories. So either they can just tell me things they like, an actual story or pretty much just drawing them or family etc... Last year I drew some pictures of this really cute little girl that my sister was a nanny for, and my sister sent me pictures of some of her toys and clothes etc so I could draw them in the pictures to make it more personal. And then she gave it to the girl's parents for a Christmas present. I hope it makes sense as I am trying to explain. (I will post pictures of them later) So I have been wanting to do that more. And so I had asked my friend her engagement story and some things her and her husband like to do, and then I put my own little creativity into the pictures- for example she said they liked French Fries so I drew them on a picnic wearing French hats, with "French" items around them (Eiffel tower picture, etc...) and eating French fries... and the title is from a fortune cookie when my friends got engaged, So I really try to make them personal. So, if someone wanted a picture of their child they could show me some of their clothing or exact toys they like and I'll draw them as well. I am still experimenting with how I want to bind the books together, I still need to look around more. I took pictures of it before it got bound so that you could see the pictures a little better and then of how I bounded this book.(or how the store did:)) I am going to give it to my friend this weekend for a Christmas present... They are in town visiting so its not really a late present since they don't live here:) Enjoy!

This page is their engagement story. So I either could have chosen to illustrate their actual engagement, but chose to do the things they love to do together.

Their names (or first letters) are in every picture too.

Boating...:)

The date is when they got married and were the "lucky" numbers on the back of the fortune cookie paper.
